1st location (one length) - 190 meters
2nd location (one length) - 140 meters

    I measured the second location at 175 yards, one length based upon topographical maps, where we were located and water level.

    It took me a while but I still reach the same number as my original estimate on the lake of 150 meters. I have now run 200,000 iterations of the HEC-2 model and with almost zero variance, I am still correct. 150. http://www.hec.usace.army.mil/publications/TrainingDocuments/TD-26.pdf

    I'm impressed Mike, That has to be way more accurate than my measurement on google earth. Now for an extra kudos point and without looking it up, what does HEC stand for?
