Going back to Cali...

Is it just me, or does he look dead?
Such hip, contemplative children.This was taken at an animal refuge-type place in San Mateo. We had decided to see a movie that afternoon, but Taylor refused, stating that we can see a movie anywhere. We were in California and he wanted to do something 'different'. Hence, we ended up here after he looked it up on his phone and got me directions to get there. It was pretty cool and had a fantastic view of the bay.
It was a really fun trip - I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my family and going to Erin's baby shower/BBQ. The escape from the cool weather and rain was badly needed. I've pretty much decided on an early retirement and a move to a warmer climate. "I'm joking. I'm not. I am. I'm not."In other news, Isaac PR'd yesterday in the mile and has qualified for Districts. He ran the mile in 4:34. And he got into Steen's Running Camp this summer, which he will LOVE. Taylor loves track - he does a different event each meet. He's just really enjoying the experience and doing his best to improve each time. He has such an amazing attitude - I love it. Parker remains clueless overall, but adorable. And Morgan is growing so tall - she has the longest legs.
Loving the updates - glad everyone is doing so well - and so excited for this summer!
