Sorry, I've got a back log of blogs
1. Stinchfield Temple night is next Thursday the 17th. Come one, come all! We've been hitting burgerville after and is a tasty treat following the spiritual feast.
2. Another big win for Keller Associates in Oregon. This follows shortly after a $90,000 contract with the City of Amity for wastewater treatment plant headworks design, but we have been awarded a contract in excess of $200,000 to complete a master plan and a water management and conservation plan for the City of Wilsonville. This is a huge win with the city being in the Tri-Met area and the respect the city has within the Tri-Met area. But keeping with your comments Brooke I would be mistaken if I didn't acknowledge the valleys as well. As far as proposals go, we submit far more than we win. A win like this means much more after a 10th out of 11 or 12 on our Grant's Pass proposal back in December. We are very blessed and fortunate to be where we are at this time, both our family and the company as a whole.
3. There is a run on Saturday the 26th (day before Oscar party). It will be a kick in the pants and I'm hoping there will be enough mud. We have two showers at our home in Salem to be utilized (as well as a hose outside). If any of you are interested, you are welcome to stay the night before at our house. I had to say that even though I hope you all know that this is a standing offer even though we are not too far away. The race fee is only $15.
4. Now that you'll be here on the 26th for the run, you can hang out for a few hours and help take car loads of our belongings over to our new house. We signed a new lease for a house that I'm surprised Anne has not posted pictures of yet. So any of those NW locals that can come it would be great and very appreciated.
4. Check this link out for hill running I found on Active.com. This is a good explanation on how to attack hills to make them not so miserable. The truth be known you still have to get up them, but these tips might save a little pain in the process. You all know I love hills.
5. So my last item to post about is the Portland Mormon Choir & Orchestra Spring concerts, April 7th, 8th, & 9th. The 7th and 8th are at a West Linn Auditorium. The 9th is in Salem at Willamette University. You can get tickets on the choir website: http://portlandmormon.org/. This concert series will be a great experience. I hope to see you all there. If you would like to save a few bucks on the online ticket fees, I can purchase tickets each week at our rehearsals.
